NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP): We know that the current Corona pandemic has really dampened the spirits of all the golf lovers in the United States. , there is a new exciting and good news on the anvil. The junior Ambassador Golf classic will be held in North Platte at lake Meloni golf course on the coming Monday that happens to be July 20, 2020.
The event will feature junior Golf players between the age of 8 and 18. This will be a stroke play combine score tournament and the winners at the individual competition level will be charged based on their recent performance and combined today score. The top kids in each age group will be rewarded with trophies and there will be more than two thousand dollars worth of flat prices for the other competitors to bag. This time more than 30 local businesses have been kind enough to donate for the tournament. This year’s event will also feature team competitions in which junior players can squad up together for the team competition. Although the golfers will play individually, however, this course will be combined together for a team competition tally.
This time there will be a mix of players should we say young golfers joining the tournament. They would be experienced players as well as those youngsters who will be playing a professional junior-level tournament for the first time in their life. That’s why the organizers working hard to create a tournament that young golfers of every skill level can participate in and enjoy. Golf Academy like sessions will be offered for younger and less experienced golfers every day starting from the coming Monday. The tournament ambassadors are really looking forward to this event in North Platte with heightened excitement. More than anything the organizers want to give the kids an opportunity to play and boost their self-confidence. This will also inspire other young golfers to enhance their golfing skills
